BASIC MAKE-UP 101

Tuition: $1,000.00
($100 deposit required to reserve class date)

Learn all aspects of the art, theory, and application of make-up, and acquire the tools and techniques to practice makeup artistry with ease. We will help you to evaluate, prepare, and choose the proper products for all skin tones, for every occasion. This course includes theory, demonstrations, and hand-on training to prepare you for a glamorous career as a professional makeup artist.

COURSE DETAILS:
Beginning Makeup Artistry includes course work in the following areas: skin care, facial architecture, creating beauty, corrective techniques, product knowledge, sanitation, draping, consultation and analysis, eyebrow grooming, color theory and selection, principles of application, full-face application, shading and contouring, custom blending and camouflage, current looks and trends, history of make-up styles, makeup chemistry and skin types, and fashion and makeup personality.

In addition to receiving professional makeup artist training, you will also learn how to design and evaluate your portfolio; become a freelance make-up artist; work with agencies, photographers, and directors; market your services; build clientele; create business promotions; and generate sales.
